We understand that by now your adventurous preschooler is learning things at a seemingly lightning pace. By keeping a few steps ahead of your child, your pre‐schooler’s teachers are committed to building their environment to provide all the fun and learning their active minds crave.

Our classrooms are divided into interest areas stocked with a stimulating range of materials designed for specific types of play, for example, house area, art area, block area, small toy area, computer area, reading and writing area. Materials are arranged in consistent places and the shelves are tagged with child-friendly labels so that children can get out and put away materials themselves. The classroom's organization also helps children understand how the world is organized, and concepts like more, less, same, different, large, small, in, out, in front of, etc.

We believe that adult‐child interaction is a vital relationship in your child’s development. Our preschool programs will provide your child with teachers who are engaged, guiding, thoughtful and nurturing to give your little one the security they need to learn and explore.

The Children’s Treehouse preschool programs are founded on active learning for your child. We believe in the following principles:

Teachers participating in children’s play. You will find our teachers interacting and adventuring right alongside your child. With your child taking the lead, our teachers will pretend, build and create within the play your child has envisioned.

Teachers using encouragement rather than praise. Instead of statements that evaluate or judge, our teachers aim to encourage your child with specific comments that will expand their vocabulary and help them to think and consider what they are doing.

Teachers encourage children’s problem solving. We believe that whenever possible, your child should be encouraged to solve problems themselves. While our teachers will always remain close by and offer support to the situation when necessary, we value the importance of trial and error and your child having the opportunity to develop their own problem solving skills.

We will provide a balanced variety of experiences and learning opportunities. Children engage in both individual and social play, participate in small- and large-group activities, assist with cleanup, socialize during meals, develop self-care skills, and exercise their small and large muscles. The most important segment of the daily routine is the plan-do-review sequence, in which children make choices about what they will do, carry out their ideas, and reflect upon their activities with adults and other children.

We believe that effective teacher‐child interactions are essential to help your little one blossom. Children’s Treehouse preschool program gives students what they need to grow, discover, and find independence, all the while rooting them with love and secure boundaries.
